What should I expect?

All programmes are available in digital quality and sound.

All programmes are available to play instantly. Your viewing experience will depend on your broadband connection speed, your computer, and whatever else you are using it for at the time. If you're unable view instantly, you still have the option of downloading to view later.

You can only watch Sky Movies and Sky 1 programmes on your main registered computer or Xbox 360. You can only browse BBC iPlayer programmes on a computer. Sky Box Office movies are not available on Xbox 360.

To download programmes you will need to install the Sky Player software. This is a 10MB download. You may also be prompted to install other software from Microsoft during installation, if you do not already have it on your PC.

The Sky Player software makes use of a peer-2-peer technology, which means that your computer will automatically share programmes you've downloaded with other Sky Player users.
