Who can watch?
Sky TV customers
If you already subscribe to Sky TV, you can watch TV programmes on demand from the channels you're able to access on your Sky Box. For most recent shows we won't charge you anything extra. You can also choose from our extensive library of older catch-up programmes to rent or buy.
Non Sky TV customers
Now you can watch Sky TV programmes without a dish, set top box or long term contract. Our monthly subscription includes a selection of catch-up programmes to watch on demand. Or you can just rent or buy individual programmes when you like, with no commitment.
What should I expect?
All programmes are available in digital quality and sound.
All programmes are available to play instantly. Your viewing experience will depend on your broadband connection speed, your computer, and whatever else you are using it for at the time. If you're unable view instantly, you still have the option of downloading to view later.
You can only watch Sky Movies and Sky 1 programmes on your main registered computer or Xbox 360. You can only browse BBC iPlayer programmes on a computer. Sky Box Office movies are not available on Xbox 360.
To download programmes you will need to install the Sky Player software. This is a 10MB download. You may also be prompted to install other software from Microsoft during installation, if you do not already have it on your PC.
The Sky Player software makes use of a peer-2-peer technology, which means that your computer will automatically share programmes you've downloaded with other Sky Player users.
You must be aged 18 or over to subscribe to the Service and a resident of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Republic of Ireland.
