What is Bookmarking?
Bookmarking allows users to add videos to the My Library, Bookmarked section, as a reminder to download the videos at a later time or date.
Bookmarked videos will not automatically download, so the user is free to choose when the download will happen.
If Sky's rights to show the video expire before the video has been downloaded, the bookmark will remain in place however, you'll be unable to download the video.
If Sky's rights to show this video are later renewed, you will then be able to download the video.
What are A-Z listings?
A-Z listing tells you every video available in alphabetical order. Simply choose the relevant letter. Alternatively if the video does not start with a letter type #.
What are My Recommendations?
My Recommendations allows you to set up preferences for certain types of programme. Once this has been set up you will be presented with programmes that fit your criteria when you log into Sky Player.
What is My Library?
My library contains all the videos that you are interested in which are placed in one of three sections.
Ready to Play:
This lists all of the videos that have already been downloaded and are ready to play.
Downloading:
-This allows you to see the videos that are currently downloading to your PC.
-A progress bar is displayed to show the progress of your download.
-You can also expand further details of the video and cancel or pause the download.
Bookmarked
-This option lists the videos that you have marked to be downloaded on a later date.
-You will have to manually select the video to be downloaded if it has been bookmarked
Searching for Content
This allows you to search for a specific video without having to hunt through all the listings. This function is only available in online mode. It allows you to search Movies, Sports and Entertainment for the video of your choice. There are several search criteria depending on section you look in. These are Title Search, Keyword Search, Movie Title Search, Star Name Search, Director Name Search and Full Search.
