Are there any charges for using Sky Player?
If you subscribe to Sky Movies mix, you will be able to access most of the films within the Sky Movies section of Sky Player for no extra cost. These movies have a 'Download' button and are marked with a 'Free' icon.
There are additional, premium and 'World Cinema' films in the Sky Movies section that are available to all Sky TV subscribers on a pay per view basis. If you subscribe to Sky Sports mix, you will be able to access all content within the Sky Sports section for free. If you do not subscribe to Sky Sports mix you can subscribe to the Sky Player Sky Sports section for £5 per month. To find out how to subscribe, see Paying For Programmes.
If you subscribe to Variety mix (ie. the mix that includes Sky One) you can access programmes in the Entertainment section. Some programmes are available on a 'Buy to Own' basis and are marked with a 'Buy to Own' icon. Other programmes are available on a 'Pay Per View' basis and are a marked with a 'PPV' icon.
