I get a message saying I must be an administrator – what is this?
Microsoft Windows has different user levels with different permissions. In order to install software, or perform certain other functions, you must have administrator permissions
To check your rights:
1. Click Start >>Settings >>Control Panel. The Control Panel will launch.
2. Click Administrative Tools >>Computer Management >>Local Users and Groups.
3. Double-click on Groups and look in the Administrators group. You should see your user name account listed in this group

I get a message saying there’s not enough disk space – what can I do?
This message will appear when you are running low on disk space in the download location you have chosen.
Please note:
1. If you have previously downloaded content, and then moved the files, you will be unable to view the selected content you've downloaded previously.
2. The Sky Player application remembers the original download location for the file, and will be unable to detect the new location
3. Do not change your download location to a removable drive, as this will interfere with your playback facility.
To check for space:
1. Click start >> my computer >> you will see a screen showing all drives available on the pc.
2. Right click system (C:)>>properties >>
3. You will see a 'pie chart' diagram (make sure you have selected the general tab)
4. You will see in the diagram the space that is free on your hard drive, if the free space is below the recommended size you will get a error message above. You will then have to remove some old files or upgrade equipment.
Another way to check for space see below.
1. Open Sky Player
2. Click on 'Account & Settings' at the top right of the screen. You will see something like: 'Default download location is C:\Program File... \downloads (24044MB free)'. Click here to select a new directory
1. If you have less than 1000MB (1GB) available, you will get a message saying so.
You can make disk space available by deleting unwanted files. Alternatively, change the download location:
2. Click 'Account & Settings' at the top right of the screen
3. Click on 'Browse' to select a new directory
4. Click 'OK'.
