HH Holmes and The Murder Castle

As Chicago planned for the 1893 World's Fair, Dr. Harry Howard Holmes was devising a more murderous plan. Holmes built a hotel, dubbed the "Murder Castle" with meticulous detail; it allowed him to suffocate his victims within airtight rooms, whilst listening to their cries for help from the comfort of his office. He also performed bizarre medical experiments on his victims. Holmes' Murder Castle was eventually raided by the police and he was put on trial.
