After 200 years, the subterranean metropolis of Ember is on the brink of disaster. Food is short, the city’s generator is dying, and only young workers Lina (Atonement’s Saoirse Ronan) and Doon (Harry Treadaway) seem to care. But finding the way out is a danger-riddled mystery in itself.
