In Bruges
Following a botched shooting, hitmen Ray (Colin Farrell) and Ken (Brendan Gleeson) are ordered to lie low in Belgium’s most picturesque town by Cockney crimelord Harry (Ralph Fiennes). But while Ken immerses himself in culture, Ray takes out his boredom on everyone from overweight tourists to drug-addled dwarves. The chocolate-box setting is perfect for a wickedly funny assortment of dark guilt trips, bullet-shaped atonements and profanity-coated soundbites. Warning: the politically correct may choke on this movie.
