College girl Brittany Snow's senior prom turns into a night of terror when the obsessed psycho that offed her family escapes and returns for the last dance. First-time director Nelson McCormick musters plenty of shocks and "he's behind you" moments in this undemanding thriller. Unlike the gory 1980 original, this is easy on the bloodletting and easy on the eye thanks to a preening cast of sports hunks and pneumatic college hotties.
