War, Inc.
Frenetic action satire starring John Cusack as Hauser, chief troubleshooter - i.e. hitman - for a mega-corporation that seeks to monopolise gas reserves in the war-torn nation of Turaqistan. Despatched to take out a Middle Eastern oil minister, Hauser's mission is complicated by a liberal journalist (Marisa Tomei), a precocious Turaqi pop star (Hilary Duff), and his own devious employers. Dan Aykroyd, Ben Kingsley and Joan Cusack add to the volatile mix of capitalist skulduggery and oil-black humour.
